Mission Statement 

 The Washington State Pharmacy Association exists to advocate on behalf of its members to ensure pharmacy professionals are recognized, engaged and valued as essential to the healthcare team. (Adopted 11/2010)

Vision Statment 

The vision of the Washington State Pharmacy Association is to ensure everyone understands and recognizes the importance of the profession of pharmacy. (Adopted 11/2010)

We are dedicated to the highest level of excellence and are committed to improving medication use and advancing patient care. We strive to support optimal medication and therapy outcomes by encouraging healthy lifestyles, promoting public health, and providing education to our membership and communities.

The association and its members are expected to operate with the highest level of ethics and honesty. We endorse trustworthy and transparent behaviors and are accountable and responsible for our actions.

Advancing Pharmacy
Cultivate opportunities for pharmacists and technicians to thrive into the evolving health care system.

Lead initiatives that further reimbursement for patient care services in all health care settings.

Serve as the Washington State leader in continuing professional development and educational opportunities.

Advocacy
Work through the Washington State Pharmacy Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Council (LRAC) to serve as the unified voice of the pharmacy profession in legislative efforts and government relations to guide public policy and health care reform.

  • Promote pharmacists serving in public office.
  • Recognition of pharmacists as health care providers.
