This is a great a great meeting for networking with other pharmacist that are in LTC or an ASCP member. For WSPA or ASCP Members the fee is $30 and for non-members it is $35 before April 25th, after April 25th it will be $10 more. If you are an ASCP member you should have received a discount code to be used during check out. If you are a WSPA member you do not need to use the code, as you are already receiving member pricing.

New Blood Pressure Guidelines and Challenges in Older Patients (1 CEU)

 

Second Presentation by ASCP State Chapter President Katherine Anderson, PharmD, BCGP, FASCP (.75 CEU)

Honing Cognitive Screening and Pillbox Skill Assessment Techniques

 

At the completion of this program, the pharmacist/clinician will be able to:

Demonstrate the value of using cognitive and pillbox skills assessments for patients and caregivers to better individualize patient medication education during care setting transitions.
Administer and score Mini-Cog©.
Administer and score Medication Transfer Screen, a pillbox organizational skill assessment.
Interpret screening results and distinguish between educable and non-educable patients and the assess the degree to which they can appropriately self-manage organizing their pillbox medications.


At the completion of this program, the pharmacy technician will be able to:

Demonstrate the value of using cognitive and pillbox skills assessments for patients and caregivers to better individualize patient medication education during care setting transitions.

Administer and score Mini-Cog©.

Administer and score Medication Transfer Screen, a pillbox organizational skill assessment.


This CE is PQAC accredited and in order to receive credit you must turn in a completed evaluation with the secret code which is given at the end of each activity. WSPA will email a statement of credit within 4-6 weeks of the event. This will be your official proof of attendance. You will receive 1.75 hours of PQAC CE
