Tobacco Cessation Certificate Training

One of the most positive, cost-effective influences any healthcare professional can have is to help a patient quit smoking. This certification program is designed to prepare pharmacists and student pharmacist to identify patients who do smoke and to present a range of possible options, from quick counseling to long-term individual and group counseling programs, all designed to help smokers quit. By completing this course, pharmacists can earn 6 hours (0.6 CEUs) of continuing education credit.

The primary goal of this certification program is to enable you to implement a smoking cessation counseling program in your practice setting. By completing this course, you will become certified by the WSPA as an educational resource for patients who want to quit smoking.

Join the growing number of pharmacists implementing effective smoking cessation programs and help reduce the number one preventable cause of cancer in the United States-smoking!
