Community Connect

You are cordially invited to participate in Community Connect, a meeting of local prescribers and pharmacists to provide perspectives about shared responsibilities in prescribing and dispensing prescription opioid pain medications. These meetings will provide an environment in which participants may collaborate to better serve their patients with pain and will feature a panel of thought leaders on chronic pain management, outcomes and policy, and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations. The prevalence of inadequately treated chronic pain, coupled with abuse, misuse and illegal diversion of medications used in pain management, has resulted in a complex public health crisis. This meeting is intended to help shape and foster improved collaboration between healthcare professionals at the local level in an attempt to better address this challenging problem.
