Description: This program will provide an update for pharmacists on the recent change to the influenza and pneumococcal recommendations by the CDC and AICP, in addition to presenting recent literature findings.
At the completion of this activity, pharmacists and technicians will be able to:
1. Summarize recent updates to pneumococcal and influenza immunization recommendations based on the ACIP/CDC
2. Evaluate recent published pneumococcal and influenza safety and efficacy studies
3. Compare and contract available influenza and pneumococcal vaccine products
