Understand the framework of laws/rules/regulations governing veterinary compounders, discuss various enforcement actions by FDA, and conclude by discussing areas of growth and opportunities for veterinary compounders.

Objectives:
1. Define the History of legislation/regulation relating to veterinary compounding.
2. Outline the different sources of law, guidance & rules impacting veterinary pharmacies.
3. Illustrate different legal and business opportunities for veterinary compounders.
4. Identify various legal issues affecting veterinary compounders.

This lesson is a knowledge-based CE activity and is targeted to pharmacists and technicians.
