At the completion of this activity, the pharmacist and technician will be able to:
Develop a greater understanding of the disease of addiction and be able to integrate this information into clinical practice.
Define clinical treatment options to support patients in their journey of recovery.
Develop a working knowledge of the following:
-The concept of salience and how this applies in the context of DSM-V and the symptom of craving.
-The use of agonist, partial agonist and antagonist therapies in the treatment of opioid use disorders.
Recall the latest information regarding epigenetics and neuro-inflammation as applied to understanding opioid addiction.
The fee for this activity is $29.40 for WSPA members, $49 for non-members. The webinar will be hosted through GoToWebinar. The webinar attendees will also need to login and register on GotoWebinar to receive the login information for attending this activity. There will not be refunds for registration, but individuals who cannot make the webinar may take the CE on-demand after the live webinar.

CE attendance will be verified through the GoToWebinar software. Continuing education credits will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor by the provider (WSPA) submitting the information to ACPE, which will validate the information before sending it to NABP. After CPE credits are processed by ACPE and NABP, pharmacists are able to log into their NABP e-Profile and view all of their ACPE completed CPE. CE credits will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor within 60 days of the activity.
