Transdermal therapy offers a stress free administration route for feline patients making it highly desirable. Compounding a medication into a transdermal form is relatively straight forward; however, just because we can make it doesn't mean we should. • Describe characteristics of medications that are appropriate as transdermals
• Evaluate if a medication is an appropriate option for transdermal therapy
• Explain reasoning for and concerns about transdermal therapy
