CMS Regulations Update and the Evolution of the Consultant Pharmacist Role

At the completion of this activity, the pharmacist and technician will be able to:

  Describe pharmacy services regulatory requirements for Long Term Care (LTC)

  Identify two changes related to 483.45 pharmacy services as a result of LTC survey process-phase 2 requirements

  Define roles and responsibilities of LTC consultant pharmacist

  Describe pharmacy services F- tag data trend in Washington State

To Earn CE Credit for the meeting

To receive CE credit, you must sign in on the sign in sheet provided by completing all required fields. You must also complete a meeting evaluation to be given to the speaker at the end of the meeting. The meeting evaluation as well as your NABP e-profile ID and birth date (MMDD) are required by the WSPA in order to receive CE credit.

To receive CE credit, you must attend the full webinar. You must also complete a meeting evaluation that will be sent to you and returned to WSPA. The meeting evaluation as well as your NABP e-profile ID and birth date (MMDD) are required by the WSPA in order to receive CE credit.

 

The Washington State Pharmacy Association has a maximum of 60 days from the date of the activity to upload the CPE information to the CPE Monitor. WSPA will upload the CE within 3-4 weeks of the event. It is your responsibility to check the CPE Monitor before the 60-day period has expired to make sure the CE is uploaded in your profile. If there are any problems, you will need to contact WSPA 425-228-7171 before the 60-day time period has passed.
