Faculty: Nicole Andrews, Pharm.D., PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Nicole Andrews is originally from the Bay Area, California and is a 2019 graduate from the University of California, San Francisco. Nicole is currently completing her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the University of Washington Medical Center, where she will then continue her training in the PGY2 Critical Care program. Outside of critical care, her interests include academia and pharmacy professional and leadership development.

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

Explain the infectious process and transmission of SARS-CoV-2
Identify challenges and limitations to pandemic-driven research
Discuss promising treatment options for COVID-19
