Community Pharmacy Day on the Hill February 4, 2020

Please come to Olympia and help advocate for the profession.

PBM licensing and regulation continues to be WSPA’s top priority. Join us in Olympia to fight for your profession against the predatory practices of PBM's that have ultimately led to patient safety concerns through intense work conditions, decreased staffing, production metrics, and segmented care as patients are forced to mail-order. Share your patient safety concerns with your legislator and tell them why SB5601 and HB1562 are so important to you and your patients.

PBMs have evaded laws from 2014 and 2016 and continue to use their contractual power to place financial barriers impacting our profession’s ability to provide access and important services to patients in our communities. Here’s your opportunity to tell lawmakers your stories about PBMs harming patient care and patient safety!

WHEN: February 4, 2020 at 9:00AM.

WHERE: Olympia at the John A Cherberg Building Conference room ABC

We will meet and discuss advocacy strategies and talking points at 9:00am and then spend the rest of day meeting with legislators.

Call or email your legislators and let them know you will be in Olympia on Tuesday, February 4th and would like to meet with them.
