Northwest Pharmacy Convention has a NEW online CE platform

Lecture Panda (LP) is the new CE platform for the Northwest Pharmacy Convention. LP can be used to view presentation materials, respond to speaker questions via an audience response system, claim CE credit, and evaluate sessions.

The following link will take you to LecturePanda to create your profile. Your NABP# and date of birth is required for pharmacist and technicians. Once you create your profile you will receive an email from LP. Please keep this email as this will be how you access your profile again. This link will connect you to the audience response system, upload CE credit, and download presentation materials. If you lose the link, please visit the registration booth at Convention and we can resend the email. Please do not create a duplicate profile.

Your profile in LP will allow you access to the “Materials” section to download and print presentations before the meeting. Printed handouts or presentations will not be provided at the Convention. Please print materials if you would like a copy in hand. Also, please bring your own notetaking materials including pen and paper or laptop/tablet. For your reference here is a copy of the Convention Agenda at a Glance. The agenda with complete CE information will be included in the Convention Guide and APP at Convention.

If you have any questions, you can reach convention staff at 425-228-7171 ext:0. Thank you!

We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2019 Northwest Pharmacy Convention! We want to make sure you are prepared to get the most out of the Conference, here are a few of our tips!

Student Sponsorship

We are seeking more support for our student assistants. If you would like to sponsor a student and have not yet done so, please call us or stop by the registration booth at the Convention. The student assistant program invites select students to attend the Convention at a reduced rate and stay at the resort. This is a great opportunity for them to assist with the conference, meet future mentors, and become engaged professionals.

Most attendees wear business or resort casual dress during Convention. For Saturday’s evening event you can wear your 70s threads, or casual cocktail attire.

You should have received a separate email regarding LecturePanda (LP) which is the new CE platform of the Northwest Pharmacy Convention. Through LP you can view presentation materials, participate in the audience response system, and claim CE credit. If you did not receive the email, please let me know and I will send you a repeat email. If you want to bring printed handouts, visit the LP site before Convention.

Welcome Reception

The Northwest Pharmacy Convention starts with this informal event with food, drink, and fun on Thursday May 30th from 7:30 – 9:00 PM in the Casco/Kidd/North Cape Room at the Resort. All are invited to attend.

Registrant packets can be picked up from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday at the convention registration desk, and during the day on Friday through Sunday.

Poster Judges Needed

We’re looking for pharmacists and technicians to judge the poster presentations. Each judge will be asked to evaluate and provide feedback on seven posters between 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Friday. Judges may receive 1.5 hours of MT or WA Board of Pharmacy/Commission approved CE credit. If you are interested in judging posters, please contact me at 425-207-3643 or, or ask at the registration desk during Convention. Idaho no longer accepts board approved CE, but Idaho pharmacists are still invited to evaluate posters.
