To take the training:
WSPA 50% off member code. You will need the coupon code to receive the member discount.
Go to the Hormonal Contraception Certificate in the WSPA Education Portal to access the CE. This will take you to our partner site out of the WSPA website.
If you’ve logged in before and forgot your password do not create another account, follow the link to reset it or call the WSPA Office at 425-228-7171 ext 0 for assistance.
If you have not logged in before, create an account. Please make sure to complete the CPE Integration section in "My Profile" to get ACPE credit.

Once you have logged in search for Hormonal Contraceptive. The CE is $90, but you should apply the member discount code before checkout to receive the 50% member discount.


At the completion of the WSPA Contraception Certificate, the pharmacist will be able to develop a Contraceptive Pharmacy Practice, and have an in-depth knowledge of contraceptives to help patients select the best therapy for them based on potential side effects, adherence, and contraindications.

At the completion of this activity, the pharmacist will be able to:
Develop a contraception practice in their pharmacy
Prescribe appropriate initial contraceptive methods, based on patient characteristics and contraindications.
Identify situations to refer patients to a primary care or emergency provider.
Describe how to counsel a patient about side effects, efficacy and adherence to oral contraceptive

To Receive Credit:
You must read the material and take the test at the end. You will need to get a score of at least 70% correct responses. If you do not achieve 70% or better, you will be allowed to take 2 retakes. If you pass with a 70%, you will receive a certificate and the CE will be uploaded to the CPE Monitor within a few days. You will need to make sure that your NABP e-Profile ID# and Date of birth are entered into your profile under the CPE Monitor Integration Details. If this information is not entered your CE can not be uploaded.
